Paint and Brick

They started bricking on the 11th of June and finished on the 22nd. We also now have some paint, trim, doors, tile, cabinets, bathroom counters and doorknobs.

June 11th - starting the brick

June 13th - the master bath (and Matthew)

June 15th - bricked fireplace

June 15th - kitchen cabinets

June 22nd - outside complete

June 22nd - master bath

There is a huge pile of leftover rock in the front yard we decided to haul into the garage to save for flowerbed edging and future building projects. Thanks to the neighbor across the street who let us borrow her yard cart. The kids worked so hard. Afterward we went for shave ice! That was the best part.

The day of drywall

They have now told us that we should be in the house approximately 60 days after the completion of drywall. That puts us in the first of August.
